Cross Linked Acrylic Co-Polymer Dispersion is used as a thickener in plastic emulsion paints. The Dispersion is compatible with vinyl acetate and acrylic homopolymer and copolymer emulsions. The Dispersion has good rheoligical properties and is a milky white free flowing dispersion. The Dispersion has 6 months shelf life and is used for increasing the viscosities of thin emulsion. The Dispersion has the feature that after mixing with any water based item viscosity of which is to be increased, ph of the mixture is gradually adjusted by adding 10% solution of sodium hydroxide, under stirring. The Cross Linked Acrylic Co-Polymer Dispersion can replace 30% kerosene used for making pigment paste, without affecting the fastness or brightness of the print.
